ITVDesk offers several license models depending on how the software will be tested, deployed, transferred, and maintained.

1. Trial License

• Used for evaluation and compatibility testing.
• Available as online trial activation and, where supported, offline trial license generation through the Customer Portal.
• Intended for testing ITVDesk with the real VMS/NVR, codec, resolution, audio, ONVIF, RTSP/RTSPS, SRT, and network configuration.
• Trial duration and limitations are controlled by ITVDesk policy and may include trial marks or evaluation restrictions.

2. Subscription Floating License

• Recommended when a license must be moved between computers or renewed periodically.
• Can be activated on one computer at a time and unbound from the current computer before activation on another one.
• Supports manual renewal from the Customer Portal.
• Suitable for integrators, temporary deployments, changing hardware, and organizations that prefer renewable licensing.

3. Perpetual License

• A one-time purchase license for long-term use on a specific computer.
• The right to use the covered ITVDesk version remains permanent according to the license terms.
• Updates and support are included for a defined period from activation, currently 365 days.
• After the update/support period expires, the license can still be used with ITVDesk versions released within the covered period.
• Newer ITVDesk versions released after the covered update/support period require renewal of updates and support.

4. Offline Activation

• Offline activation is intended for protected, isolated, or restricted-network computers.
• The application exports a request file from the target computer.
• The Customer Portal generates a signed license file that is imported back into ITVDesk.
• The license remains hardware-bound and digitally signed; manually edited license files are not accepted.

5. Customer Portal

• View purchased serial keys and activation status.
• Renew subscription licenses.
• Renew perpetual update/support coverage.
• Generate and download offline license files where supported.
• Access orders, invoices, and billing details.
